Road Trip!!!

As many of you know, I found the most wonderful place in the world! I can not believe Ms. Cheap has not discovered it. It a place called Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, AL. There are only two locations in the United States and praise God they are both in Alabama. I know all of you are wondering how I discovered such a cool place. Well I must admit Paul & I saw it on the Discovery Channel. Although, I loathe Oprah and would never ever watch her. I did hear that she also did a show about it.
Anyway, I decided that I must go check it out. So I drug my friend Amy kicking and screaming (yeah right) with me. We had a great time! We went down Saturday and shopped until they kicked us out. You know when the employees take a look at your cart and tell you it is time to go, you have had a successful shopping trip! So we grabbed some Mexican food and crashed for the night. Then back at it on our way home Sunday. Although, it was poring down rain we still succeeded to shop all the way home. What a great getaway weekend! Unfortunately, I was absolutely worn out when I got home and did not get pics of my bargains. : (

So I will just have to tell you about a few of my bargains. I found Paul about 6 brand new golf shirts. Including Nike, Chaps, Nautica, and Banana Republic. I got me a ton of new summer outfits and scored on a Tiffany & Co. necklace for $30. Now it is a knock off, but was still a really good deal. Since my counterfeit lady is in prison and probably not getting out any time soon. I figured I better grab it while I could. A girl has to do what a girl has to do.
I also got Hannah some really cute outfits and four "Don't Forget Your Manners" books. I would say my best bargain was the "My Baby Can Read System" for $32. Which sells for $200!! These are just a few of items that I got. There are too many good deals to list. I would say if you are a Goodwill shopper then you will LOVE this place. It is like a huge Goodwill but clean and most items still have the tags on them. Which makes total sense, because I know when I travel I take new items to wear while on vacation and buy new items while on vacation. Apparently a lot of other women do the same!! (and I thought I was the only shopaholic) So head on down to Scottsboro and get some great deals.

I tell ya, for a po dunk town they had a kickin' Mexican restaurant called Buena Vista. If you ever go to Unclaimed Baggage you must stop by.

Amy and I after a long hard day of shopping! This is the point where we dropped.

Ok I know.... I know....I must explain this picture. Well we stopped in at Stuckey's on the way home and the bathroom door had a ton of graffiti on it (not that I read that stuff ha ha) so you know I had to bust out a pen on that door. Man, it so took me back to my younger years. I never told Amy that I did it, so surprise Amy! Now when you visit Stuckey's you will always remember our road trip to Unclaimed Baggage!
