Last weekend we all got together for dad's birthday. Since it was Sunday, he decided that he wanted to go to Cracker Barrel. On Sundays their special is fried chicken. Well, he likes it so much it has almost become a Sunday night tradition for mom and dad to be at Cracker Barrel for a fried chicken feast.
I was able to let our waitress know that it was dad's birthday without him hearing. So minutes later the entire wait staff came out placed a coffee filter on dad's head and began singing happy birthday. Now for those of you that know my straight laced father, you know that the coffee filter was priceless! I am so glad I remembered my trusty camera was in my purse.
