It seems like this past month has been full of birthdays and showers. Here are some of the presents.....
A surfboard shirt and short set for Hananh's friend David's 2nd birthday.

A crab shirt and short outfit for Hannah's friend Will's 2nd birthday. I was so excited when I found a matching hat at Gymboree.

A second shirt for Will's birthday. Unfortunately my machine got oil all over the back of the first shirt. So I ended up having to make a new one. Which I can say I like much better than the first anyway. For some reason I had a really hard time finding a plain white 2t shirt. I even had my mom checking stores in Franklin. Anyway, I ended up finding this two toned shirt that at first I did not want and was unhappy with. So after thinking and thinking. I had an idea to take the sea sucker back ground off (because it was a slightly different blue) and just do the crab.

Gifts for Meredith's baby shower.

I was so excited that this dress turned out ok. It was the first time that I had done a newborn dress. I have not had much success with buttons either. Last time I did buttonholes I ran my seam ripper right through the end of the dress. Which just makes you sick after you spend all that time making it and then the very last step you ruin it. So needless to say this time I took it very slow as I ripped the buttonholes. Although this dress made me sad in realizing that Hannah is no longer a baby, it did make me happy that finally one of neighbors is having a little girl!

This tummy time play pillow is a new pattern that I bought from Jo Ann's. It was fun and somewhat easy. I think the next time I make it I will adjustment the pattern a little bit. Instead of basting the batting I think I will just stuff it when I finish. I found it incredibly hard basting the batting and then it was very bulky putting both finished sides together. Other than that it was a fun pattern and I will add it to my pattern box. ; )

I did the reverse side in mink dot so she would have a soft place to play.
