Hannah has been running a high fever since Sunday. She is not eating or sleeping. She has also been very grumpy and irritated. It has been a tough few days. We pray she gets to feeling better soon.
Finally, She woke up this morning feeling better so we decided to get out of the house and go to parent and tot day at the discovery center. She had a blast singing and dancing with the other children. When we were leaving I noticed she had blisters on her hands. Of course I freaked out and called the doctor. We went in later that afternoon and Dr Eastham said that she had hand, foot, and mouth disease! I asked him what the heck is that and how did she get it! He said that it actually is very common in infants and that she probably got it from the nursery at church. There is nothing that we can do for it but just let it run its course. He said that the blisters will go away in 5-7 days and her appetite should be back to normal soon. Bless her heart she looks horrible. I posted more pics in the gallery.
